All-American Parts

2017-2020

This series draws inspiration from vintage magazine and newspaper clippings in an attempt to re-examine past histories and events. Using popular imagery primarily generated during WWII, both commercial and documentary,  these carefully rendered recreations address consumerism, notions of militarism and heroics, and plays with the ephemeral nature of paper as a form of historical documentation and storytelling.
